Authentic products
We focus on familiar Nepali staples, presented clearly and simply for everyday shopping.
There is a particular kind of homesickness that shows up at dinner. The tea tastes different, the achar is never quite right, and one small pantry item can suddenly feel like a piece of home.
Rara Harvest is being built to make those everyday pieces of Nepal easier to find in the U.S. — with straightforward shopping, sensible everyday pricing, and a supply chain that can create more opportunity for the people behind the food.

We focus on familiar Nepali staples, presented clearly and simply for everyday shopping.
As suppliers come onboard, we intend to prioritize freshness, transparent labeling, dependable handling and sensible everyday value.
Our goal is to form long-term supplier relationships and reduce unnecessary waste, packaging and middlemen where possible.
A simple U.S. shopping experience, careful packing and delivery you can actually track and depend on.
Across Nepal, women have long done the patient work of sorting grain, drying vegetables, preparing achar, blending spices and preserving recipes. Much of that labor happens inside homes or small communities and is rarely treated as economic work.
As Rara Harvest grows, we want to look first for women-led producers, cooperatives and small businesses where a reliable buyer can make a practical difference — not as charity, but as paid, valued work.

Sustainability for us starts with ordinary decisions: sensible packaging, consolidated shipments, shelf-life planning and working with suppliers long enough to improve together.
The first job is simple: make it easier for Nepali households to find the products they miss. Over time, we want that demand to support better opportunities for producers back home.

Rara Harvest is still a prototype. These are the standards we intend to build toward, not claims that every future supplier or shipment already meets a perfect standard. We would rather be specific about what we are trying to improve than manufacture a story that has not happened yet.
